Pengaruh Jumlah Bilah Extra Fan Terhadap Penurunan Suhu Kondensor Pada Trainer Air Conditioner Mobil
Abstract
The condenser cooling system is very important in maintaining the stability of refrigerant pressure and temperature in the car air conditioning system. The effectiveness of heat dissipation in the condenser highly depends on the airflow characteristics generated by the extra fan. This research aims to determine the effect of varying the number of blades (7, 10, and 13) and the blade tilt angles (15° and 30°) on the efficiency of condenser temperature reduction in a car AC trainer. The experimental method was conducted using a test device integrated with an Arduino Nano microcontroller as the data control center. In this experiment, thermocouple sensors were used to monitor temperature changes in real-time, while the fan blades were printed using 3D printing technology to achieve the desired angle precision. Based on experimental analysis, it was concluded that the blade geometry configuration significantly affects cooling performance. The use of a 15° blade angle results in a more stable airflow and a more optimal temperature drop compared to a 30° angle. Additionally, the number of 10 blades was found to be the most effective point in generating airflow speed capable of maximizing the temperature drop out of the condenser.
