Analisis Pengaruh Temperatur Udara Masuk Kompresor terhadap Efisiensi Turbin Gas PLTG MPP Parit Baru Unit TM 1 PT PLN Batam
Abstract
This study discusses the effect of compressor inlet air temperature on the efficiency of gas turbines at PLTG MPP Parit Baru Pontianak, which is one of the gas power plant units under the management of PT PLN Batam. The electrical energy generated by these plants is essential for various sectors of life, including households, businesses, and industries. This study aims to determine the effect of the variation of compressor inlet air temperature on the efficiency of gas turbines and to find out the comparison of gas turbine efficiency. The research method involves literature studies, direct observations on site, indirect observations through theoretical sources, and interviews with operational staff. This study uses operational data from the Central Control Room (CCR) PLTG MPP Parit Baru Pontianak and focuses on measuring the efficiency of gas turbines at certain times of the day. The results showed that the highest efficiency of gas turbines was recorded at 06.00 with a value of 90,234%, while the lowest efficiency was recorded at 12.00 with a value of 89,929%.
