Abstract

The research method is the steps or procedures that will be carried out to collect data in order to solve problems or test hypotheses. As for this study, researchers used a type of quantitative research. Quantitative research is a research method based on the philosophy of positivism, used to examine certain populations or samples, data collection uses research instruments, data analysis is statistical, with the aim of testing established hypotheses (Sugiyono, 2019). According to Arikunto quoted by Ayuni and Sati (2022) explaining that quantitative research, as its name implies, requires a lot of numbers, starting from data collection, interpretation of the data, and the appearance of the results. Data is processed using SPSS 25.0. From the results of hypothesis testing that has been done, the results show that there is a positive and significant effect on the variables of entrepreneurial knowledge, motivation, self-confidence on entrepreneurial interest, and there is a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial knowledge, motivation and self-confidence on interest in entrepreneurship in 2019 Management Student Management Muhammadiyah Metro University.
