PENGARUH MODEL COURSE REVIEW HORAY TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PENALARAN MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS X SMA NEGERI 4 BENGKULU

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning has a very important role for students, students should not only understand and do practice questions but students should actively participate in solving problems in learning mathematics. Research instruments are measuring tools used to measure the variables studied. The research instruments used in this research are tests of students' problem solving abilities and mathematical reasoning abilities. Tests of students' problem-solving abilities and mathematical reasoning abilities take the form of essay questions that require completion and are carried out at the beginning of the meeting (pre-test) and at the end of the meeting (post-test).This study aims to determine the effect of the Course Review Horay Model on the Mathematical Reasoning Ability of Class X Students of SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu. This type of research uses Quasi Experiments. Data collection is done through tests. Data analysis used the Ancova test. The research sample was students at SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City in class X MIPA 2 and X MIPA 5. The results showed that: (1) There was an effect of the Course Review Horay learning model on the mathematical reasoning of students in class X SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City by 18.4%. (2) There is an influence of the Course Review Horay Model on the mathematical reasoning abilities of class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City after controlling for the covariate of students' initial abilities of 5.9%. (3) The achievement of mathematical reasoning abilities of class X students of SMA Negeri 4 Bengkulu City who were taught using the Course Review Horay Learning Model was better than classes taught by conventional learning.
