1. Preliminary Editorial Assessment

Every manuscript submitted to the Journal of English Education and Entrepreneurship is first examined by the editorial team to determine its relevance to the journal’s aims and scope. This initial assessment also considers the originality of the work, its scientific significance, the adequacy of the supporting data, and adherence to the journal’s author guidelines and formatting standards. Only manuscripts that satisfy these requirements will proceed to the review stage.

 

2. Peer-Review Procedure

The journal employs a double-blind review system, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process. Each submission is reviewed independently by a minimum of two experts whose academic backgrounds align with the subject matter of the manuscript.

Reviewers evaluate submissions based on criteria such as originality, scientific contribution, methodological soundness, relevance to biology education, and overall academic quality. They are required to disclose any conflicts of interest and to treat all manuscript materials as confidential documents.

 

3. Editorial Evaluation and Decision

Editorial decisions are made after careful consideration of reviewers’ comments and recommendations. Manuscripts may be accepted, returned to authors for revision, or declined for publication.

When revisions are requested, the updated manuscript may be reassessed by the editor and, when necessary, by the original reviewers before a final determination is reached. The Editor-in-Chief retains ultimate responsibility for publication decisions.

Authors of manuscripts not selected for publication will be informed accordingly and may receive an explanation regarding the reasons for the decision.

 

4. Appointment of Reviewers

Reviewers are chosen according to their scholarly expertise, research background, and publication experience related to the manuscript topic. During submission, authors may suggest potential reviewers and identify individuals they prefer not to review their work.

While such recommendations are taken into consideration, the editorial board independently selects reviewers and maintains full discretion over the appointment process. Any suggested reviewer with a potential conflict of interest will not be invited to participate.

 

5. Submission of Manuscripts

All manuscripts must be uploaded through the journal’s electronic submission platform available on the Bioedukasi e-journal website. Authors are required to create an account and submit their work using the Author role within the system.

The journal welcomes submissions in two categories:

• Original Research Articles
• Review Articles
