PERANCANGAN GAME AUGMENTED REALITY BERBASIS LOKASI UNTUK PEMBELAJARAN MENCARI JEJAK PRAMUKA DI SMP NEGERI 02 KASIHAN
Abstract
Generally, scouting activities in schools are still carried out using conventional techniques and often make students less interested, such as delivering material in the classroom or conducting outdoor activities without the use of technology. The main focus of this research is to create an interactive Augmented Reality-based educational game that is relevant to tracking in secondary schools. The purpose of this research is to use augmented reality (AR) technology to help understand navigation concepts such as reading maps and understanding coordinates in real-time by combining GPS technology. This research uses the prototype method, with the aim of obtaining an initial representation of the system modeling to be created. The data collection methods used are observation, interviews, and the necessary technology. In analyzing system requirements, the researcher conducts system design, system development, testing, and maintenance, which are expected to maximize system performance. The test results show that the application runs smoothly on Android devices that support ARCore, although there are still limitations on devices with low specifications. Overall, the design of this game makes a positive contribution to supporting Scout trail finding learning, both in improving students' understanding and increasing their involvement in these activities.
