PENGEMBANGAN MODUL AJAR BERDIFERENSIASI MENGGUNAKAN MIKROSKOP DIGITAL PADA MATERI EKOLOGI DAN KEANEKARAGAMAN HAYATI

Abstract

This study aims to develop a differentiated instructional module incorporating digital microscopes to enhance the effectiveness of science learning, particularly in the subject areas of Ecology and Biodiversity. The implementation of this research is considered relevant as an effort to improve the quality of differentiated instruction, address the limitations of conventional microscopes, and integrate technology into classroom learning processes. The development procedure follows the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop,and Disseminate), which includes needs analysis, product design, expert validation, limited trials, and product dissemination.  The results of expert validation indicated that the differentiated instructional module using a digital microscope met the eligibility criteria, with a media feasibility validation percentage of 91% and a material feasibility validation percentage of 87%, thus categorized as highly feasible. Limited and large-scale trials conducted demonstrated that the module is highly feasible for use as an alternative instructional material in science learning.  Moreover, the use of this module supports the implementation of differentiated learning and understanding of microscopic objects related to Ecology and Biodiversity materials. Students' responses to the use of the module showed an average score of 86%, categorized as "Highly Feasible." Therefore, the differentiated instructional module using a digital microscope is considered effective for use in science learning at the junior high school level.
