Archiving Policy
This policy describes the management, maintenance, and preservation of published articles and related publication records of Counseling Milenial (CM). It covers the journal's internal digital archive and is distinct from author self-archiving and independent long-term digital preservation services.
1. ARCHIVE CONTENT
Counseling Milenial (CM) maintains a digital archive of its published issues and article records through the journal's online publishing platform. The archive includes full-text articles, bibliographic metadata, published supplementary materials, and relevant editorial notices associated with published articles.
Published content is made accessible in accordance with the journal's Open Access Policy. Unpublished manuscripts, confidential peer-review reports, and internal editorial or administrative records are excluded from the public archive.
2. ARCHIVE MAINTENANCE AND RECOVERY
The journal's editorial team, in coordination with the publisher and relevant technical administrators, is responsible for maintaining the availability and integrity of its digital archive. Reasonable measures should be taken to identify missing, damaged, or inaccessible files and to maintain recoverable copies of published articles and their associated metadata.
Backup and recovery procedures should be reviewed periodically to reduce the risk of data loss caused by technical failures or other operational disruptions. These measures support the continuity of the journal's publication records but do not, by themselves, constitute a guarantee of independent long-term digital preservation.
3. RECORD INTEGRITY AND CONTINUITY
The journal is committed to maintaining the integrity and traceability of its published scholarly record. Corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, and other relevant editorial notices must remain appropriately linked to the articles to which they relate.
Any migration of the journal's archive to another platform or system should, where technically feasible, preserve article metadata, persistent identifiers, publication dates, citation information, and links to related editorial notices.
Changes to published articles are governed by the journal's applicable editorial policies. The journal will take reasonable steps to maintain access to its published content and preserve the accuracy and completeness of its publication records.
4. DIGITAL PRESERVATION
The journal recognizes the importance of long-term digital preservation in ensuring continued access to scholarly publications. Appropriate preservation measures may include maintaining backup copies, retaining publication files and metadata, and evaluating suitable digital preservation services or institutional repository arrangements.
Any claim regarding participation in a specific digital preservation network or service will be made only when such participation has been established and verified.
5. ARCHIVE ASSISTANCE
Readers, authors, and other interested parties who encounter missing articles, inaccessible full-text files, or inconsistencies in the journal archive are encouraged to contact the editorial team through the official contact information available on the Counseling Milenial (CM) website. Reports should include the article title, author name, publication year, volume and issue, DOI or article URL, where available, and a brief description of the problem.
The editorial team will review reported issues and take appropriate steps to restore access or correct the relevant archive records.
