Access Policy
Counseling Milenial (CM) is committed to facilitating access to scholarly publications in the fields of guidance and counseling. The journal aims to make its published articles accessible to readers through its online journal platform in accordance with its applicable open-access policy.
1. IMMEDIATE FULL-TEXT ACCESS
Published articles in Counseling Milenial (CM) are made available online according to the journal's publication and access policies. Where immediate open access applies, readers can access the full text from the date of publication without an embargo.
Each published article is provided with an individual article page containing bibliographic information and links to available full-text files. Articles are generally provided in PDF format or other formats supported by the journal platform.
The same access principles apply to articles published in regular issues and special issues, where applicable. Published corrections, expressions of concern, retraction notices, and other relevant editorial notices are also made accessible in accordance with the journal's publication policies.
2. NO READER ACCESS CHARGES
The journal aims to provide readers with access to its publicly available articles without requiring a subscription or payment for reading and downloading, subject to the journal's applicable access policy.
Access to publicly available articles should not depend on institutional affiliation, membership, or payment for another service.
Any applicable Article Processing Charges (APCs), submission fees, or other publication-related fees are separate from reader-access charges. Information about publication fees, including whether such fees apply, should be provided transparently through the journal's official website.
3. REGISTRATION AND JOURNAL ACCOUNTS
Registration and login requirements are determined by the function being accessed on the journal website.
Where articles are publicly available, readers should be able to browse published issues, read article pages, and download full-text files without creating an account, unless a clearly stated technical or policy requirement applies.
Journal accounts may be required for manuscript submission, reviewer assignments, editorial administration, and other account-based services. These functions are separate from public reading access.
The collection and processing of personal information associated with registration and journal services are governed by the journal's Privacy Statement and applicable data protection requirements.
4. ACCESS AND REUSE RIGHTS
Access to published articles and permission to reuse their contents are governed by the journal's applicable open-access and licensing policies.
Where articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) License, readers may share and adapt the licensed material, including for commercial purposes, provided that the applicable license conditions are followed.
The journal's Licensing Policy explains the permitted uses, attribution requirements, and any exceptions applying to third-party materials that are subject to separate copyright or licensing terms.
This Access Policy does not impose additional reuse restrictions on materials beyond those established by the applicable license. The journal's open-access statement describes its broader commitment to the dissemination of scholarly knowledge.
5. PUBLIC AND NON-PUBLIC MATERIALS
Public access to published articles does not automatically extend to unpublished manuscripts, confidential correspondence, peer-review reports, or internal editorial and administrative records. Access to these materials is governed by the journal's confidentiality and editorial policies.
Research data and supplementary materials that are not included in the published article may be subject to privacy, informed consent, contractual, ethical, or other legitimate restrictions. Their availability and access conditions should be explained in the article's Data Availability Statement, where applicable, and in accordance with the journal's research data policies.
Any exceptional restriction or removal of published material for compelling legal, privacy, ethical, or safety reasons must be handled in accordance with the journal's applicable editorial and publication ethics procedures. Such action is distinct from a subscription barrier or routine publication embargo.
6. TECHNICAL ACCESS AND INTERRUPTIONS
Counseling Milenial (CM) aims to maintain reliable online access to its published content for readers in different locations.
Temporary technical interruptions, broken links, inaccessible files, or other access barriers may occasionally occur. Readers are encouraged to report such problems to the editorial team for investigation and resolution.
Reasonable technical security measures should be implemented without unnecessarily obstructing legitimate reading, downloading, or indexing of publicly available articles. Where an access problem is identified, the journal will seek to restore access or provide information about an available alternative.
Long-term continuity of published content, digital preservation, and repository arrangements are addressed separately in the journal's Archiving Policy and any applicable digital preservation policies.
