Author Guidelines

Before preparing and submitting a manuscript, authors are encouraged to carefully review the following guidelines. These instructions are designed to ensure consistency in formatting, clarity in presentation, and alignment with the academic standards of Edunomia: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Ekonomi. By following these requirements, authors can facilitate a smoother review and publication process.

General Writing Requirements

Manuscripts submitted to Edunomia: Jurnal Ilmiah Pendidikan Ekonomi should be written using Cambria font, with font size 11 for the main text and size 10 for the abstract. The text should be single-spaced and formatted on A4 paper, with a maximum length of 17 pages. The margin settings should be 3 cm on all sides (top, bottom, left, and right).

Authors are required to submit their manuscripts through the online submission system (OJS). The author’s name should be written without academic titles and placed directly below the article title. Each author must include an email address, with one corresponding author clearly indicated.

Manuscripts may be written in either Indonesian or English. However, abstracts must be provided in both languages, written in paragraph form. The title should be written in uppercase letters, bold, centered, and not exceed 15 words.

The structure of research-based articles generally includes: title, author name(s), institutional affiliation, email address, abstract (100–250 words covering objectives, methods, and results), keywords, introduction (background, brief literature review, and objectives), research methods, results and discussion, conclusions and suggestions, and references (limited to cited works only).

References should preferably be from the last 10 years and prioritize primary sources such as journal articles or scientific publications. Citation and referencing must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th Edition style. Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a review process by editors and reviewers in accordance with their expertise. Authors will be given the opportunity to revise their manuscripts based on feedback provided. The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection will be communicated through the OJS system.

Any issues related to licensing, including the use of software or copyrighted materials, are the full responsibility of the author.

Structure of the Manuscript

1. Title
The title should clearly reflect the content of the paper, without using acronyms or abbreviations, and should not exceed 15 words.

2. Abstract
The abstract should be written in both Indonesian and English, in a single paragraph of no more than 250 words, without citations. It must include the research objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.

3. Introduction
This section should present the background of the study, state of the art, gap analysis, novelty, research problems, proposed solutions, and research objectives.

4. Method
This section explains the research design or procedure, research subjects, location, experimental or study design, sampling techniques, number of samples, variables measured, research instruments, data collection techniques, and data analysis methods.

5. Results and Discussion
This section presents the findings clearly and concisely, followed by an in-depth discussion. Authors are expected to highlight the novelty, impact, and contribution of the study to the field of economic education.

6. Conclusion and Suggestion
The conclusion should directly answer the research objectives and be written in paragraph form, without repeating the discussion. Suggestions may include implications or recommendations for future research.

7. Acknowledgment (if applicable)
This section is optional and may be used to acknowledge funding sources or contributors.

8. References
A minimum of 25 references is required, with more than 80% coming from reputable journal articles that include DOI or URLs. References should mainly be from the last 10 years and must be managed using tools such as Mendeley or Zotero.
