Privacy Statement
Justice Law, published by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro, is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of all users of the journal system, including authors, reviewers, editors, and readers.
Personal information collected through the Open Journal Systems (OJS) is used solely to support the editorial process, scholarly communication, journal publication, and journal management.
Use of Personal Information
The journal may collect personal information, including:
- Full name;
- Institutional affiliation;
- Email address;
- ORCID (where available);
- Telephone number (if provided);
- Other information necessary for journal management.
The information is used for the following purposes:
- Processing manuscript submissions;
- Managing the peer-review process;
- Facilitating communication among authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher;
- Publishing article metadata;
- Providing journal-related information and notifications.
Data Confidentiality
Justice Law treats all personal information as confidential and will not sell, rent, or disclose users' personal information to third parties for commercial purposes without consent, unless required by applicable laws or regulations.
Data Security
Justice Law takes reasonable measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure.
Public Metadata
Information that forms part of the scholarly publication, including:
- Author names;
- Institutional affiliations;
- ORCID identifiers;
- Article titles;
- Abstracts;
- Keywords;
will be publicly available as part of the article metadata and may be indexed by search engines, indexing databases, and scholarly information services.

By registering with and using the Justice Law journal system, users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Privacy Statement.
