MJVBM is committed to the permanent preservation and availability of its published content.

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and to permit those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

In addition, the full text of all articles is stored on the journal's server and, where applicable, deposited with national and international digital preservation and indexing services to ensure long-term access.
