  • Font: Times New Roman; abstract 11 pt, body text 12 pt; single line spacing
  • Maximum 15 pages

2. Title

The title is written in capital letters, bold, centred, 12 pt, no more than 15 words, and reflects the main variables or focus of the study.

3. Authors

Author names are written without academic titles below the title, followed by institutional affiliation and an email address for every author. The corresponding author is marked with an asterisk.

4. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract (150–250 words) is written in Indonesian and English as a single paragraph and states the purpose, method, main findings, and implications. Three to five keywords follow each abstract.

5. Structure of a Research Article

  • Introduction — background, a concise review of relevant literature, the research gap, and the objectives
  • Method — design, participants or sources, instruments, data collection, and analysis
  • Results and Discussion — findings presented clearly and discussed against previous studies and theory
  • Conclusion and Recommendations — answers to the research objectives and practical implications
  • Acknowledgments (optional) and Declarations (funding, conflicts of interest, AI use)
  • References — only works actually cited in the text

6. References

  • Citations and the reference list follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style; the use of reference managers such as Mendeley or Zotero is encouraged.
  • Prioritise primary sources, especially research articles in journals published within the last 10 years.
  • A minimum of 15 references is recommended, at least 80% of which are journal articles.
  • Qur’anic verses are cited with surah name and verse number; hadith are cited with the collection, book/chapter, and hadith number.
  • Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list, and vice versa.

7. Tables and Figures

Tables and figures are numbered consecutively, given a title, placed close to where they are first mentioned, and cited in the text. Images must be legible and the authors must hold the right to use them.
