Preprint Policy

PROFETIK accepts manuscripts that have been posted as preprints on a non-commercial preprint server or institutional repository (for example, OSF Preprints, RINarxiv, or the university repository).

  • Authors must disclose the preprint, with its link or DOI, at submission.
  • To protect double-blind review, authors should not draw reviewers’ attention to the preprint; editors understand that complete anonymity may not always be possible.
  • After publication, authors are encouraged to update the preprint record with a link to the published version in PROFETIK.

Posting an undergraduate thesis (skripsi) in the university repository is not considered prior publication. Publication of the same article in another journal or in conference proceedings with an ISBN/ISSN is considered prior publication.
